Welcome to the Northern Michigan Ski Academy

We began 30 years ago as a program to teach area children the fundamentals of ski racing. Today, the NMSA program is the area's only non-profit ski academy and continues to be the place where young skiers learn how to have fun on the snow.

 !  Important Announcements...

The Northern Michigan Junior Ski Club Invitational Race was held at Boyne Highlands on Sunday. Race results are posted as links on the Race Results page.

This brings the 2010 NMSA season to a close - it's hard to believe that it is over!

The NMSA has had another successful season, we've seen skiers grow into racers, people step in to help grow the program and wonderful support from our hosts at the Highlands and the Mountain.

We couldn't run this program without Dave Hofacker, Joe Breighner and John Medicine from the Highlands and Mark Skop and Ed Grice at the Mountain. Be sure to thank them for their support.

Have a fun & safe summer!

One thing that got lost during the season was that "rdsports" was out taking pictures of one of our races. You can view those shots on his website (see the photo above).
